Annastacia Palaszczuk – save our water for Queensland, not mining giants.
If the Adani mine goes ahead, billions of litres of water will be lost to this dirty, polluting, mega coal mine.
This means less water for drinking and wetlands. Less water for our farmers, damaging their capacity to grow food in an already drought-ravaged state.
Once these fragile water resources are gone, they cannot be restored. The costs will be borne by our children and grandchildren.
