Guarding the Galilee at Wintermoon Folk Festival
Wintermoon Folk Festival is located about 30 minutes south of Proserpine, or 1 and 1/2 hours north of Mackay. It is a weekend event held between April 28th and May 1st. We have the opportunity to show the 'Guarding the Galilee' documentary at this event. The Galilee Basin is a huge coal deposit in Western Queensland, and there is a proposal to open this area to new coal mining. This is at a time when the coal needs to stay in the ground to avoid catastrophic global warming. This is our fight for a future for our kids and next generations. Come along, see the show, join the action, and make a difference - it'll be worth it!
