We’re joining indigenous Australians and environmentalists to take action against Westpac, which is considering funding one of the world's largest coal mines across the ditch in Queensland, Australia. The briefing and training session is Sunday May 7th, 4-6pm at St Ninian’s Church, 9 Puriri St, Riccarton, Christchurch, NZ. This will cover everything you need to know for the day. The Morrison Government just caved to pressure from Adani and signed off on a crucial water plan. Can you call Labor Leader Bill Shorten and Shadow Environment Minister Tony Burke and ask them to commit to review Adani's approvals if Labor wins government in the upcoming federal election?
Adani need one crucial final approval from the Federal Government – their plan to manage precious groundwater. That could happen any day now. A new expert review of Adani's plan shows that it is drastically flawed and inadequate. We have to act fast to stop this approval.
