Community film screening to Stop Adani in Ipswich!

Join new ACF Community Group Ipswich at a film screening and panel discussion of the important documentary Guarding the Galilee.

Presented by Queensland-born actor Michael Caton, this 30-minute documentary shines a spotlight on the battle to stop the biggest coal mine in Australian history, Adani’s Carmichael project. The award-winning documentary team captures the raw beauty of the Queensland outback, where Adani’s mine threatens essential water resources.

The film screening will be followed by an open discussion and supper, where you can connect with your community and find out how to get involved in the campaign to #StopAdani. Held the week of the upcoming state election, all candidates from Ipswich, Ipswich West, Bundamba and Jordan will be invited.

This is an independently run event hosted by a member of your community. When you RSVP, ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
