Stop Adani - Guard the Galilee documentary screening

The Wangaratta Sustainability Network is hosting a screening of the film, Guard the Galilee which is a call to action on stopping the proposed Adani Coal Mine in the Galilee Basin in Queensland.

This proposed coal mine would be one of the largest in the world, making a massive contribution to greenhouse gas emissions and destroying bushland and impacting groundwater if it was to proceed. 

Please come along to hear about how communities around Australia are coming together to stop this massive coal mine development and what we in Wangaratta might do to contribute to what has been called the biggest fight for the environment since the Franklin Dam.
