As the sun rises on October 7th, thousands of Australians across the country will be waking up to take on the BIGGEST day of action we've ever seen to#StopAdani. Communities all over will be mobilising to place an unprecedented amount of heat on our politicians to rule out giving $1 billion loan of taxpayers money to Adani.

We're going to kick off the day with a GIANT human sign spelling out #StopAdani at Franklin Square, 70 Macquarie St Hobart. 

After the human sign, we will be having family friendly activities including music, face painting and an opportunity to add your voice to our photo petition calling on the government to rule out giving a billion dollars to a billionare.

This is a family friendly event and is set to be a fun day of peaceful-protest-picnicking. Even if you can’t make it - tell all your friends about it and please share this event. We need as many people as possible to make the message loud and clear - together we can #STOPADANI!

This event will be held on the land of the Muwinina people, and we pay our respects to elders past and present, and acknowledge today's Tasmanian Aboriginal community who are the custodians of this land. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
