This is a friendly gathering to encourage Commonwealth Bank to drop all associations with the proposed Adani Carmichael Coal Mine. The board of Commonwealth bank will meet to decide upon their climate change policy on 13th June. This is a time of national action targeting Commonwealth Bank and we are proud Bathurst is part of it. If the proposed Adani coal mine goes ahead it will be disastrous for our climate and put the nail in the coffin for the already sick Great Barrier Reef. Let's raise our voices and send Commonwealth Bank a clear message that funding coal mines is not on. Wear white, to represent bleached coral. Join in on a fun prop and sign making session at Rahamim on 5th June, 5.30pm.
