Stop Adani Belgrave is part of a nation-wide movement to stop the Adani Carmichael mine going ahead.
What are we doing to stop it? We are pressuring our local Federal MP, Jason Wood, to oppose the mine. We will do this by surveying our neighbours, families and friends (Jason's constituents), about their views on the mine. We aim to collect 500 surveys and deliver them to Jason directly on November 20.
Can you join us on November 12 at the Belgrave Big Dreams Market to survey community members about the mine? RSVP if you can!
The more people who show up to help survey, the more conversations we can have and the more surveys we can collect, increasing our chances of getting Jason over the line.
Jason Wood is a liberal, moderate backbencher in a marginal seat, giving us a decent chance of influencing him to act. The more community opposition we can show him against the mine, the more likely we are to win.
Join us on November 12 to get involved!

The Adani Group wants to rebrand itself as a leader on climate change and clean energy. But there’s a big problem - Adani are mining, handling, and burning record volumes of coal - the number one driver of the climate crisis.
