WEBINAR: Queensland Renewables
Queensland is more vulnerable to climate change than any other state or territory in Australia and it is already experiencing severe climate impacts.
This special webinar will look at the state of play of Renewables in the Sunshine State:
- Annika Dean from the Climate Council will give a short presentation on their latest report, ‘Welcome to Queensland: Renewable One Day, and the Next, and Next…’ that outlines the threats facing QLD, but also the economic opportunities for the state if it takes advantage of the global transition to a clean energy economy.
- Louise Matthieson, Director of Queensland Conservation Council will speak to what's happening on the ground drawing on her time at Solar Citizens (more info here), and where the politics are at!
There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
