Orange Spells it Out #StopAdani Human Sign
This Saturday, October 7th, thousands of Australians across the country will be joining in the BIGGEST day of action we've ever seen to #StopAdani. Communities all over will be mobilising to literally spell it out for politicians - in the form of human signs - calling on them to rule out giving $1 billion loan of public money to Adani for this dangerous and destructive mega coal mine.
Plus, it's a beautiful day to enjoy a coffee, breakfast, walk, picnic, bike ride etc, after the event at our iconic Lake.
WHO: Everyone motivated to stop this destruction and waste of taxpayer funds, which should be invested in Future-Friendly technologies. A mix of all ages would be GREAT.
WHAT: A giant human sign to #StopAdani! Our impact will depend on numbers, so please come and bring friends.
WHEN: 11am
WHERE: On the circular grass area in the middle of the carpark at Lake Canobolas.
WEAR: Bright colours!! Or your #StopAdani shirt, or black and red. Also if you have a black, red or bright umbrella, please bring it.
BRING: friends, family, your home made signs, sun protection, water, an umbrella to help put blocks of colour in the letters. Preferably red or black umbrellas but any will do.
This is a family friendly, fun, peaceful event. Tell all your friends about it and please share this event.
This is a snap action. We need to let as many people know about this in the next 2 days, so we have as many people as possible to make the message loud and clear - together we can #STOPADANI!
