I'm a mum of 4 and 5 year old girls. I've always been concerned about the environment, but having children really brought a sense of urgency and responsibility to it for me.

I had read a little bit about Adani, and I distinctly remember the moment that I signed up to survey 100 people in my community; I was sitting there thinking "This is it. I have to step up, I can't let them do this." So I jumped out of my comfort zone and started to get involved with some local climate action groups.

I'm happy to say that along the way I've met so many wonderful, inspiring people - people who give me hope.
