Lawyers Against New Coal Mines

Emissions from the burning of coal are the biggest driver of climate change. Right when we need to cut these emissions, the Australian government is attempting to facilitate the opening of new mines (like Adani) to sell coal for burning overseas. Indigenous land rights and farmers' water use rights are being affected in the process. Lawyers care about these issues and LANCoM is a group for like-minded legal professionals to share their concerns and workshop potential legal solutions.
