As the sun rises on October 7th, thousands of Australians across the country will be waking up to take on the BIGGEST day of action we've ever seen to#StopAdani.
We're going to kick off the day with a #StopAdani media opportunity to show the community we don't want the govt giving a billion dollars to a billionaire! BYO signs, props and messages - lets spell it out to our pollies that Launceston doesn't want this coal mine to go ahead.
Then come chill for some drinks and bites at our AYCC For the Love of the Reef Launch Party! We all want to #StopAdani from destroying our Great Berrier Reef and our climate - so come along to this event to learn more about how you can raise funds and awareness to #StopAdani from going ahead, and supercharge the youth climate movement.
DETAILS: 5.30-7.30pm Sat 7th Oct at Kingsway, Launceston Free entry, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available to purchase.
Featuring guest speakers from AYCC Launceston, and an opportunity to join the movement to save the reef and #StopAdani! Learn more at fortheloveof.org.au ♥ ♥

This event will be held on the land of the Letteremairrener people, and we pay our respects to elders past and present, and acknowledge today's Tasmanian Aboriginal community who are the custodians of this land. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

The Morrison Government just caved to pressure from Adani and signed off on a crucial water plan. Can you call Labor Leader Bill Shorten and Shadow Environment Minister Tony Burke and ask them to commit to review Adani's approvals if Labor wins government in the upcoming federal election?
