On Thursday 6 February, Adani are back in court for allegedly providing false and misleading information to the Queensland Government about land clearing on site.
This is a big deal. The charges are serious offences attracting serious penalties: a maximum fine of $2 million or a two year jail term.
This is a huge win for the community, who were responsible for bringing Adani’s allegedly illegal work to the public’s attention way back in 2018!
