Court orders Adani to pay $107 million in damages to coal port customers
The Supreme Court of Queensland ordered Adani to pay a hefty $107 million damages bill after four coal companies took Adani to court. Justice Dalton’s judgement said Adani engaged in ‘unconscionable conduct’ that unfairly disadvantaged its customers and that Adani ‘attempted to disguise its behaviour in complex transactions.’
