Canberra: Let’s do a ‘public service’ at CommBank to #StopAdani
Things are getting serious. Half the Reef is dead. Our politicians are doing all they can to support Adani’s new mega coal mine. Adani say it will consider a final investment decision at its next meeting. AND the Commonwealth Bank, one of the last big banks to not rule out Adani, has a Board meeting to consider its climate policy on 13 June! Here in Canberra, we know ‘public service’ when we see it. But now isn’t the time to shuffle papers, commission a report or consult stakeholders. We need to act. We need to do the public a service by ensuring CommBank says NO to Adani.
