Biggest #StopAdani Doorknock!
The Queensland election is in less than 2 weeks, and we’re fired up and ready to #StopAdani 🔥🔥🔥 and safe our Reef 🐠🐳🐚 It’s the perfect time to take action, and there’s never been a better chance to send a strong message to MPs and candidates that Queenslanders want them to speak out against Adani and veto the $1bn NAIF loan.
We need hundreds of people to hit the streets together, asking the thousands of families in the Clayfield electorate what THEY think about Adani’s billion-dollar bailout, and listening to their concerns about climate, sustainable jobs, water, and the Reef.
If you’ve never done anything like this before but you feel you just *have* to do something to stop Adani, we’ll give you the skills you need and group you with experienced volunteers so you can learn from the best 👌 Friends and family are MOST welcome!!
Together, we will show the major party candidates for Clayfield - LNP leader Tim Nicholls MP and Labor’s Philip Anthony - what we already know: Queenslanders want our money to build a safe future, not line the pockets of coal mining billionaires!
WHEN: Saturday 18 November, 12-5pm
WHERE: Brothers Rugby Club. 103 Crosby Rd, Albion, Brisbane
WHAT:
12-1pm Adani conversations training
1-3pm Mega doorknock to speak to every family in Clayfield about stopping Adani this election
3-4pm Debrief and wrap-up
4pm+ Party time! Stick around for complementary food and a cash bar to celebrate our massive day
WHY: we need to ensure whoever forms the next Queensland government commits to vetoing $1 billion of taxpayer money to wreck our Reef.
