||___Schedule___|| -Meet at TYREE BUILDING at 2:20pm -Leaving UNSW through the Main Entrance on Anzac Parade @ ~2:30pm -Walking to Kingsford Westpac and spending until about 2:40-3pm together, or whenever we finish the branch visit -Rejoicing and dancing because we have just partaken in a wonderful and powerful campaign to help keep fossil fuels in the ground! Hooray!
Last week we shared convo's over UNSW VegeSoc's amazing B.Y.O container $5 lunch, and had a great branch visit! We met with staff at the branch, with 5 volunteers in total, to share our concerns with Westpac staff, congratulate them on their 'branch adoption' and deliver the autonomous survey flyers. This week we're welcoming all new volunteers and anybody that wants to get involved in any way, to join us, get to know what AYCC is all about, and gather the skills and knowledge to help us out with our national campaign! Totally easy, low-level entry activity with all training and knowledge shared/provided :). This event will be run by the AYCC @ UNSW (https://www.facebook.com/groups/255072341205774/) group.
Contact Michael or post in our facebook page if you have any problems/questions :) For more AYCC @ UNSW info, visit https://orgsync.com/129987/events/1842165/occurrences/4316846 or visit our facebook group. Cheers!:D

The list of companies walking away from Adani’s toxic brand and climate-wrecking mega mine keeps growing. 59 companies, including 16 major insurers, have now ruled out working with Adani.
But Lloyd’s of London is still working with Adani to help the mining giant find insurance for its disastrous project.
Let’s flood the Lloyd’s office with calls now and let them know that allowing insurers to underwrite Adani’s coal mine is a risk we cannot afford!
Adani can’t build or operate their destructive coal mine and rail line without insurance.
A staff insider from US insurance giant AIG has confirmed AIG is insuring part of Adani’s mine project. Now is the time to tell AIG to insure our future, and not to renew insurance for Adani’s destructive coal mine.
On September 20, three days before the UN Emergency Climate Summit, the #StopAdani movement is stepping up to join the Global #ClimateStrike led by young people from the School Strike 4 Climate movement.
