Waves of relentless community pressure led to a win with Westpac - we ensured that Westpac's climate policy has ruled out funding for Adani for good. There is no reason why CommBank’s new policy can’t do the same. CommBank's board meets on 13th June to review their climate change policy -- that’s why we need your help to intensify the pressure and help them make the right decision. This is our best window of opportunity to win on CommBank and ensure that no bank touches Adani. We're delivering the message throughout the Illawarra on Friday 9th June - join us at Corrimal Commbank at 10:40 and continue on to the many other local Branches to deliver the StopAdani message: 11:00am @ Dapto; 11:30am @ Warrawong; & finally all together at 12:30pm in Wollongong. Or you can join us earlier at Thirroul or Shellharbour Commbank @ 10am or 10:30am @ Albion Park. Wear your Stop Adani or other Climate Change tee shirt. We'll have some placards, but good to make your own if you like. For more details - If you are coming from the north call Cherry 0408 674 305, if you're coming from the south call Tom 0438 254 679. Enough is enough! It’s time to push CommBank harder than ever before.

The list of companies walking away from Adani’s toxic brand and climate-wrecking mega mine keeps growing. 59 companies, including 16 major insurers, have now ruled out working with Adani.
But Lloyd’s of London is still working with Adani to help the mining giant find insurance for its disastrous project.
Let’s flood the Lloyd’s office with calls now and let them know that allowing insurers to underwrite Adani’s coal mine is a risk we cannot afford!
Adani can’t build or operate their destructive coal mine and rail line without insurance.
A staff insider from US insurance giant AIG has confirmed AIG is insuring part of Adani’s mine project. Now is the time to tell AIG to insure our future, and not to renew insurance for Adani’s destructive coal mine.
On September 20, three days before the UN Emergency Climate Summit, the #StopAdani movement is stepping up to join the Global #ClimateStrike led by young people from the School Strike 4 Climate movement.
