If the Adani coal mine goes ahead, the environmental damage will be extensive in both the short and long term. It is widely agreed that new sources of fossil fuels, including coal, need to remain in the ground to prevent further devastating impacts from climate change. Yet Westpac is still the only bank that hasn't distanced itself from financially supporting the disastrous coal mine. The age of coal has come and gone - and Westpac needs reminding! Come down, bring a placard and your voices, and show Westpac that Darwin wants to #StopAdani!
