Our Reef is predicted to experience a bleaching event again with a 60% chance at the beginning of next year. Meanwhile Adani claim they are only weeks away from securing finance and starting work on the mine. And on a federal level we still don't have any proper climate policy. Federal member for Brisbane, Trevor Evans, is holding mobile offices where constituents get a chance to meet with him. Let's make a collaborative effort to tell him that our Reef needs urgent action on climate change now, why we need to #StopAdani and transition to renewable energy as quickly as possible. BRING: Summer coloured clothes - reds and oranges + water, hat, sunscreen + Reef and StopAdani signs and banners + the issues you want to tell Trevor Evans about. Authorised by D. The Adani Group wants to rebrand itself as a leader on climate change and clean energy. But there’s a big problem - Adani are mining, handling, and burning record volumes of coal - the number one driver of the climate crisis.
