We're holding a peaceful queue-in at George Christensen's office to let him know that people in our community expect positive action on climate change. George has been a key blocker of climate policy in government. He has constantly denied the science of climate change. The heat that climate change has produced an unprecedented drought, bleached the Reef twice and increased the intensity of cyclones. We're expecting to see bushfires and more coral bleaching this summer. So we're queuing up at George Christensen's office to let him know that we want stronger action on climate to prevent even greater catastrophes. We're meeting at the Environment Centre first then walking down to his office.
We are meeting at George Christensen’s office at 2/21 Milton St Mackay. Write down why YOU want to stop the Adani Mine for your chance to tell him face to face.

Adani can’t build or operate their destructive coal mine and rail line without insurance.
A staff insider from US insurance giant AIG has confirmed AIG is insuring part of Adani’s mine project. Now is the time to tell AIG to insure our future, and not to renew insurance for Adani’s destructive coal mine.
On September 20, three days before the UN Emergency Climate Summit, the #StopAdani movement is stepping up to join the Global #ClimateStrike led by young people from the School Strike 4 Climate movement.
