#StopAdani Cooper Darebin Climate Discussion Night

Are you a Cooper resident worried about climate change? Wanna do something about it but don't know where to start? Come along to the Darebin Climate Discussion Night on 22nd August to get involved and get empowered with your local community! We've got a fun and fact-filled night featuring:
School Strikers
Speakers from the Al Gore Climate Reality Project
Local climate activists sharing their experience within the movement and reasoning behind joining
Darebin Mayor Susan Rennie
Local comedian Duff
There will also be brainstorming sessions where you can have your say and share ideas, networking opportunities organising for future community action, and much more.

The September 20 Climate Strike is on the horizon followed by the UN Climate Emergency summit just 3 days after. Now more than ever, we need to demonstrate our collective concern and demand immediate action.

With Darebin Council as the first Australian council to declare a climate emergency, we know our community cares strongly about climate change. So come and find out more about where we go from here!

This is a kid friendly event and snacks and drinks will be provided.  There is strength in numbers, so please bring along family and friends.
