An Adani Enquiry: Films and Discussion
This is a gathering of earnest folk, trying to understand better what's going on with all this Adani business and what it has to do with us.
What is the current status of Adani's proposed Galilee basin mine? Is it really that big a deal? How does this issue shine light on our own relationship with the land, climate, water, economy, each other?
There will be a few short films, and some vaguely-structured small group discussion.
Good company guaranteed.
Some sort of finger food / snacks will be provided.
Please bring some money for a donation.
The event is being hosted by volunteers and supported by the church (Unitarian Community of SA). The genius idea behind the donations is to gather a pot to direct towards a worthy cause that we decide on the day.
The event will be casual and welcoming of kids, and people of all political and personal orientations.
