"Let's Talk About The Weather" Local Experiences of a Changing Climate
"LET'S TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER" Local Experiences of a Changing Climate will help us build bridges in our community through finding our common ground on the important topic of climate.

Bar & Supper & Live Music from 6pm to 6.30pm
Regardless of our politics and position on coal mines, most people in the area will have observed changes in the weather patterns that affect our land, flora, fauna and people.
Talking about what we're seeing and realising that 'we're all in this together' will be an important first step towards working together for change.
At the meeting, people in Boonah and surrounds will share their responses to the simple question: "How is the changing climate affecting you?"We'll hear from residents young and old; parents and students; graziers and dairy farmers; growers, butchers and medical practitioners; hobby gardeners, artists and naturalists; flora, fauna and catchment specialists; bee-keepers and teachers; and business owners in retail, eco-tourism, financial services and more.
The meeting will also be a chance to talk about what we can do - as individuals and as a community - to transition gradually and fairly towards a better future.
We're interested in everyone's story and if you'd like to contribute, please reply to this email or phone Rob (0448 077 713) or Alison (0427 300 462).
See you there!
