This all-important $1bn loan to Adani cannot go ahead unless both the State and Federal governments support the loan.

For its part, the Queensland state government can exercise its power of veto to rule out any NAIF proposal.

With the state election coming up on 25 November, we want to ensure that the next Queensland government will use this veto power and ensure Adani does not get a $1bn taxpayer-funded handout.
