Hey Frydo, don't give a billion dollars to a billionaire!

This action is brought to you by the Kooyong #StopAdani action group and Kooyong Climate Coalition: a group of local citizens who want effective climate action and a clean energy future!

Gautam Adani is an Indian billionaire who wants to build the biggest coal mine in Australia’s history in Central Queensland’s Galilee Basin. The Federal Government wants to give him $1 billion of public money to build a rail line from the mine to the port where the coal would be shipped to India.

With the Federal Budget coming up, it's time to tell Minister Josh Frydenberg NOT to give a billion dollars to a billionaire!

Bring a banner, bring a friend, or just bring yourself!

Across the country, people everywhere are standing up to #StopAdani. Over 100 new groups and thousands of concerned people like you are joining the movement. We’re sending the message loud and clear that we won’t let this disastrous mine go ahead.

With you, we can build a powerful, united movement that's loud enough, large enough and strong enough to show our elected representatives, key decision makers and business leaders Adani has no place in Australia’s future.

This is an independently run event hosted by a member of your community. When you RSVP, ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
