Emerald, VIC - Guarding the Galilee with DRREA and EMFSUS

Join us to watch the 30- minute documentary “Guarding the Galilee”, which explores the impacts that the Carmichael project would have on water resources, climate and the reef and documents the ongoing fight to stop it. A brief info session/discussion will follow.

Presented by Queensland-born actor Michael Caton, this 30-minute documentary shines a spotlight on the battle to stop the biggest coal mine in Australian history, Adani’s Carmichael project. The award-winning documentary team captures the raw beauty of the Queensland outback, where Adani’s mine threatens essential water resources.

This is a joint showing by members of Dandenong Ranges Renewable Energy Association (DRREA) and Emerald for Sustainability (EMFSUS)
